This is a beautiful property with a great owner who made sure everything was perfect when we arrived. We were able to enjoy a great MDW and hang out at the dock. The available kayaks and floats were great as well! Overall, a wonderful trip and a wonderful experience at the Dam Crows Nest. Thank you Rose Marie!

Great Mother's Day weekend gathering place

Our children and grandchildren arrived from Pennsylvania and North Carolina at this wonderful gathering place. The beach was thoroughly used by our grandchildren and the lake provided a wonderful two days of boating and fishing for all. The kitchen has everything you need and then some as far as equipment which was great for our family of enthusiastic cooks. Lots of views, deck space, tables for eating and playing cards. The beds were all comfortable. Showers - nice hot water and great water pressure.

My family and I had an amazing stay here! The house was perfect for our family (there were 13 of us), the views were incredible, and the 2 major hits: the sandy beach area for the kids and the big deck/table area for us to eat all our meals together. The kitchen has every tool you can possibly need which made our cooking more enjoyable. Rose Marie was so easy to talk to you and answered all my questions timely and clearly. Don't hesitate booking this place, you will love it!

Outstanding place at Lake Gaston!!!

Dam Crows Nest is truly an outstanding place to rent at Lake Gaston. It had everything we needed ........and more! The interior of the house is very well laid out, well furnished and well maintained. We had our three grandkids there and they invited some of their friends. While they were not alll there on the same nights, on one day there were 12 kids there ranging in age from 11 to 18. There was space for everyone with the boys taking over the bottom level and the girls using the main level. The view of the lake was "picture postcard." A short walk brought you to a sandy beach area and the boathouse and dock. The owner had kayaks and a canoe that we could use in addition to the boat and jet skis that we brought. All of this kept the kids in the water all day! Rose Marie, owner, was a joy to work with. She responded immediately when I sent in my initial rental inquiry. She then kept in touch throughout the process leading up to our rental week. And once we arrived and had questions, she was available by phone to answer our questions. She made us feel that she was really happy that we were staying in her home and she wanted to be certain that we felt at home and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We had a great week weather wise. We definitely plan to return next summer and we have nothing but positive things to say about our experience at Dam Crows Nest.
